As the first step into our Christ-centered educational journey, our kindergarten program lays a strong academic foundation in reading, writing, math, art, science, music, social studies, PE, and technology.

Elementary School

At Grace Chapel Lutheran School, our 1st through 5th grade program offers more than just reading, writing, and arithmetic. During these pivotal formative years, we engage students through learning methods that support the way young minds grow best—through play, hands-on experiments, guided examples, collaborative sharing, and a well-rounded, differentiated approach to instruction.

Our students receive more than foundational academics—they are given a strong foothold for the future, both in this life and in the life to come. As part of our mission to nurture caring, servant-hearted leaders, we strive to ensure each child knows the deep and abiding love of Jesus Christ.

Faith is woven into every aspect of our school day. From daily religion classes and devotions to weekly chapel services and schoolwide “Faith Families” activities, students learn to see Christ in every subject and experience. Our teachers model Christian values and share their personal faith openly, fostering a school culture built on love, trust, and Christ-centered relationships.

To prepare our students for the ever-changing world, we emphasize both innovation and creativity. Every student participates in one-to-one Chromebook learning, enhancing lessons and promoting digital literacy. Students also benefit from hands-on STEM classes, imaginative Art instruction, and an Introduction to Band, helping them explore their talents and passions across a variety of disciplines.

Technology, creativity, faith, and academic excellence come together at Grace Chapel to shape confident, compassionate learners—ready to serve, lead, and thrive.

A Christ-Centered Middle School Experience

Middle school can be a time of great change—and great opportunity. At Grace Chapel Lutheran School, we provide a strong, traditional learning community for students in grades 6 through 8, within a loving and supportive Christian environment. As students begin seeking more independence and forming their identities, we guide them through these pivotal years with structure, compassion, and Christ at the center.

Our middle school offers a complete academic experience, with high school preparation and rigorous coursework supported by our 1:1 Chromebook technology initiative. But just as importantly, we focus on building students’ spiritual foundation, helping them discover who they are in Christ.

Faith in the Middle School Years

As a Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) school, our approach to middle school education is grounded in biblical truth. Students are reminded daily that their identity is found in being a beloved child of God. This spiritual focus is woven throughout:

  • ✝️ Religion & Confirmation classes

  • ⛪ Weekly chapel services

  • 🙏 Daily devotions and gospel-centered conversations

  • 💡 Faith Family leadership opportunities

  • 💬 Christ-like discipline rooted in grace and God's purpose for His children

Building Leaders and Servants

Our mission to develop caring, servant leaders takes shape in middle school through a variety of leadership and service opportunities:

  • ⭐ Leading Faith Families and Morning Praise

  • 🗣️ Participation in chapel services and student-led worship

  • 🏅 Academic group projects and collaborative learning

  • 🤝 Student leadership roles and extracurricular involvement

  • 🧤 10 annual service hours for 7th and 8th graders

  • 🌟 Annual Day of Service: Shine Day – impacting our community and campus

Through these experiences, students gain confidence, grow in character, and prepare for their future—academically, socially, and spiritually.

Early Childhood Center(ECC)

Growing in God’s Grace in a Neighborhood of Learning

At Grace Chapel’s Early Childhood Center, we believe every child is a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). Our center serves children ages 2 years to 5 years, providing a loving, developmentally appropriate, and Christ-centered environment where young learners grow in faith, confidence, and joy.

Our Philosophy

We are a caring Christian learning community that nurtures each child through what we do, what we say, and who we are. We recognize that each child is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), uniquely created by God with their own developmental path.

We partner with parents to support the whole child—spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

Faith-Based Learning

At Grace Chapel, every experience reflects our ministry of growing in God’s grace:

  • Faith-focused environment with daily prayer, Bible stories, and Christ-like behavior modeled all day long

  • Weekly chapel services and regular devotions

  • Grace-based guidance that reflects God’s love and forgiveness (John 3:16)

  • An inclusive atmosphere that welcomes families from all faith backgrounds

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Our “neighborhood of learning” helps children grow to be:

  • Faithful

  • Confident

  • Joyful

  • Connected in Christ

Learning Through Play

We believe play is the child’s work. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces are designed for hands-on learning through:

  • Exploration and discovery

  • Problem-solving and curiosity

  • Child-led activities in unique natural spaces

Our play-based curriculum supports learning in all developmental areas while following Missouri Early Learning Standards and National Lutheran School Accreditation guidelines.
